When deadlifting stiff or conventional I get the weirdest sensation in my right leg. It feels like little electric shocks in my calf and in my hamstring on the negative and the lift. They are annoying but don't hinder me in anyway.

Does anyoen have any thoughts?

I train on a barefloor in wrestling shoes.

Do you ever have low back pain??

It could be some scatia.

It is pressure or compression of the sciatic nerve... you are walking on thin ice... be careful!

Do you think it could be caused by a misalignment? I am very, very flexible for my size and have never had low back issues. My back issues tend to be upper related. I have never had an issue with my sciatic....

It could. Sciatica is a pinching or pressure on the sciatic nerve. Normally it is caused my inflammation in that area as a result of injury of the disc.

I've had sciatica off and on. Usually anti-inflams and revers hypers even with just bodyweight do wonders. If that doesn't help, see a sports minded chiro or doctor to get an x-ray or mri.

Ditto this. I would also ice it a few times a day. Make sure you are doing plenty of ab work, ect.

I've actually had this with no negative results for aslong as ive been lifting (15+ years)..... I feel nothing after or during any other activity. I know there the nerve is, so I guess I can ice it anyway.

I've always done weighted abs along with tradtional work, so I don't think I have a weaknees there either.

Maybe I should get some x-rays just to be safe.

One of the best mobility exercises for sciatia is walking. 30-60 minutes a day will do wonders for your spinal alignment and help keep the inflamation in the disc from pressing on the nerves.

That and pressups should fix what ails you.

That's true, I do walk alot when I get it. Helps tremendously. Sciatica if I am correct is not as a result of a weakness, so you can't think of that way. The abdominal stuff will just help take pressure off the area. Do whatever you think is right, but we're just trying to give you some ideas. Shawn is right about the disc issue though.
