Hey Jesse
Now I understand what you were talking about when you said it is easy to eat 1-2lbs of quality beef! To be honest, 1 lbs of store bought stuff would make me feel like crap. However, last night I sectioned off 1 of my 10lbs chubs and made two 1/2+ lbs burgers in the process. I ate them both and was still hungry - you can really taste a difference. I guess I am now a customer! Which steaks do you like best (I will be ordering soon)?

I like the london broils alot. Callie eats them because they are one of the leanest cuts. We use the Flavor Wave oven to cook them because it keeps them tender. My favorite is the Large Top Sirloin! Next is NY Strip Steak. I've been known to eat 2 lbs of either cuts in one sitting. love it!

This really makes me feel hungry. Is the taste really that noticable? I may order some when I have more money to spend.

The taste is noticable over store bought, yes. But the real difference is in how I feel when I eat it. I can eat it till I'm stuffed to the MAX. And I can put it down trust me. It digests perfectly. I FEEL good eating it. To be honest with you, I care only a little about taste. I'm all about performance. Since I started eating Grassland beef I've gained 20 pounds of muscle. At my level that's crazy progress! 20 pound gain in 10 months without changing ANYTHING except adding Grassland beef and taking out all foods that came from animals that were given hormones and anti-biotics.
Guys spend hundreds of dollars on 'fad' supplements in search of success but they won't spend 100 bucks to get 20 pounds of the best muscle food on the planet delivered right to their front door. That is amazing to me. Try the beef for a month and I know anyone will make progress. It's not rocket science! You're body will put out what you put in it.

I have to agree with Jesse on the fact of its about how you feel after you eat it. I just finished eating my first serving of grass fed beef, I ate about 1/2 lb, and have no indegestion or bloating or just plain laziness feelings. The regular feed lot grocery store beef realy made me feel awful after eating it, full, bloated, indegestion and lethargic.I am a convert, Jesse thanks for spreading the word about the grass fed beef. Also my 11 year old son was eating it and said wow this meat is alot better, it almost tastes cleaner. So if an 11 year old boy taste the difference there most be something there.

Eric,
Thats great! My son is 6 and he'll tear into a peice of plain hamburger and ketchep like it's candy. Funny, but Dawson doesn't know the difference between store bought and Grassfed, but when I've given him store bought meat he just puts it down and says he doesn't like it. It really is that much better.
I am prone to getting really bad heartburn. Especially when I eat foods with gluten in it. I don't get heart burn when I eat Grassland beef. In fact, if I am having heart burn all it takes is a serving of Grassland beef and a huge glass of water as my next meal to get rid of it.
I can't explain it except to say that my body can tell the difference. My body rejects grain fed meat and can't get enough free range meat.
I gotta hit the sack now, but remind me tomorow to tell you about Arthur Saxon's recomendations for beef eating.

OK Jesse offical reminder to tell us about Arthur Saxons recomendation for beef eating.
BTW, my earlier post on my first meal with Grass fed beef was with tacos, while it was much better I think the taco seasonings hid some of the real flovor. Saturday night my wife cooked up some giant burgers (mine was 2/3 - 3/4 lb) and it was the best tasting burger I can remember having (and I have had A LOT of burgers in my time). And afterwards I felt great, normally that much read meat would have taken my out of commision for the night.

Here is one to try - did this yesterday for linner (hey if there is a brunch, I'm going to eat a linner too). I took 1lbs of Grassland ground beef, 4 red potatoes (cooked and sliced), 1/4 green pepper (diced) ... browned beef and peppers in skillet, added potatoes salt and pepper. Let sit for about 5 minutes on medium heat (after meat was done) and then added 2 eggs and mixed them into the mess - it was a nice snack. Never has 1lbs of beef and all the extras gone down so easy! Then I did some event training about 2 hours later and felt great - no indigestion at all.
