What would be your thoughts of having a series of CoC, Beefbuilders in WSM.

it wouldn't be boring at all for me personally, but maybe most people would think it be easy as they always seem to think it is when i train with them in the gym - think twice as soon as they cant close the trainer, but most of the fans watching will not have done that
if you could get the point over of just how tough they are, maybe it would work - at least its something they can buy an try without killing themselves

For us in the sport we would deffinatly respect their ability, but compaired to the very spectator friendly truck pull, atlas stone or tire flip IMO it would be slow and boring to watch

As much as I respect the strength involved, I (an avid strength fan) would even find this really boring.

For the record, as much as I acknowledge that grippers are an achievement, I loathe them as a legitimate strength training tool.
People with grips developed with thickbars, heavy deads, and plate pinches can almost always close a strong gripper. The reverse is almost never true. Closing grippers only makes one better at closing grippers. This is coming from someone that actually used them for a couple years, even closing a HG 300 and a COC3 prior to the rule change.

There are other events that test grip than the grippers (farmers, hercules hold, axle DL, ect.). I think it might be a little boring for the fans, but every one has his/her own opinion.

I agree 100%
Grippers in WSM would be boring to watch and impossible for the fans at home to relate to. Everyone has seen a fire truck and can appreciate it being pulled, but only a minute percentage of the population has ever seen a heavy duty hand gripper.
