The first pic is forum member Chris, new guy to the gym Nick, me and safety Tim on the right.

video one is Chris showing Nick how to push jerk the log. #2 is nick nailing 160 on the log in his 3rd ever strongman workout. He weighs aboue 175 but is gaining fast due to his new habits of lifting very heavy and eating massive amounts of beef. video #3 is rep #20 of Callie's 200 lb tire flip session.

Thanks for posting those man.

I love your stone platform. Any chances you getting some more pictures and specs of it for me? I am in dire need of getting one built myself.

Sarge built the platform so you know it's solid. I forget all the specs, but I'll try to get him to get on and give em to ya. It's 12 feet long and 54" high and holds 6 rocks on each side. Weighs about 1000-1200 pounds. Cost about 700 to build.

We just poured the slab and built the roof over where the platform is. We're totally arranging everything differently. Strongman training center redecorating.... We have alot more stuff I'll take pics of. We just got a conans wheel built that is the best I've ever seen.

Thanks a ton Jesse!!!!

Nefi's uncle owns a lumber yard on our street (heck...the entire family lives on this street, not joking). I'm going to take him this picture and see if he can help me out.

I love seeing where you guys train. Reminds me that the best dont' always train in fancy smancy places.

haha we think it's fancy! you should see some of the dumps we've trained at in the past. Just having a roof over our toys is major deal! We trained ALL winter out in the open. Had to put a torch to the handles to warm em up and keep em dry.

Thanks for the pics Jesse. I'm making one similar to your platform, only it will be one sided and placed up against the outside wall of my garage.

How on EARTH can you be THAT close and NOT go train with him????!!!!!

If I lived that close he would have to run me off.

Clint> I know, I know....things are smoothing out at work here now, so I hope to be able to get up that way soon. :)

Jesse> I'm actually flying out tomorrow morning to Santa Cruz for the NorCal contest. I didn't want to compete in 2 contests, 2 weeks apart. *LOL* I do hope to make it up there for a Saturday. I know I could learn a ton from you guys.

J,

I understand, but the weights are so light in Port Townsend, that it will be like another workout for you. Its just a 3 hour drive away in your home state...just a suggestion. Think of it as an Active Recovery workout.

I worked out with Rocco yesterday, and I thought he mentioned your name competing in Port Townsend...
HIGA.

I had thought about the lighter weights aspect, too.

Without trying to sound like I have an excuse for everything, my wife and I are also headed out of town for our 3rd wedding anniversary on the 23rd.:)
In order to have a 4th, it would be a good idea not to mess with the plans we already have.;)

There are at least 3 other contests I am looking at up here this year, too.:)
