Ankle swelling

Both of my ankels have swollen up since the day after my contest (past Saturday). There is zero pain or soreness... RICE has not seemed to do much...

Any thoughts?

We had a training day here and did max effort on car deads. The next day my ankles were swollen up to my knees. My swelling was like edema. See if you push your skin to the bone and it stays or pits. Anyway Rice did nothing for me either. Finally after 2 weeks I went to the doc and she said I had torn achilles at the bottom of my calf in both legs.

I dont know if this is what you have but just so you know she gave me a shot and the swelling went down immediately. I didnt have any pain initially but about a week down the line the swelling started to hurt my knees and ankles.

This was over a month ago and I still have soreness in my right leg but its getting better.

Its pretty much gone away. I switched from just icing to full ice baths and wrapped them for about 12 hours at a time. I also took a few Benadryls...
