yea...i've tried a few things to try to get the smell out of the tuna.....I'm fine with the smell and taste of tuna..but my friends are terrified! :)
I tried seasoning it up hella with Emeril's Essense.....and also stir frying it with rice and corn....
When the meal is hot...it smells fine..but when i take it to school the next day cold....
thanks man..that curry tuna pocket sounds delicious!
My favorite right now is to empty one can of tuna (5 oz) into a bowl and cover with shredded cheddar cheese then to dump another can of tuna (5 oz) on top of it and again cover with shredded cheddar cheese and microwave for about 1:30. When done in the microwave I pour on 1-2 servings of Lite Catalina dressing. I find that because it's warm it tends to take out the real fishy taste however my bodily functions are still affected by the tuna smell

Mike have you tried mixing it with Dijon mustard? I don't like Mayonaise, so I use a dijon style mustard and it usually masks the tuna smell with the mustard smell and has excellent flavor.

I like putting soy sauce with mine. But the professors hate when I eat in class.

I like mixing mine with cottage cheese, and adding in a tablespoon of olive oil.

if you just rinse the tuna by squeasing out the liquid and running water on it and squeasing it out once or twice the smell is almost non existent , and the smell of tuna makes me gag

YOu may want to get some VITAL CHOICE tuna, or tuan steaks.. They dont smell like the cheap store bought brands, also they dont upset your stomach like store brands do!

try a tunapple shake, they sound disgusting, but are actually not that bad. 1 can tuna, 2 cups of apple juice, blend and enjoy.
