Jesse, do you think you could post up the dimensions of your stone platform? The big long 54'' one.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it.

I just built one on Saturday from the ground up. 2' x 12' were my dimensions.

Were you looking for specs like stud and brace placement?

Kinda wondering how deep it goes. can't really tell from the videos, maybe 3 feet??

Stud placement would be cool too.

Mine was only 2' deep and it was plenty. The studs were all 16" on center.

For the horizontal bracing, I put 2 x 4s on edge from front to back every other stud just below the top plate on the top and also just above bottom plate on the bottom, alternately. I also put 2 x 4 horizontal blocking on face on top of the horizontal bracing to stabilize the plywood.

Angle bracing was also 2 x 4 running alternate directions from top plate to opposite bottom plate.

It's sturdy as a rock.

Our is 12' long x 2' deep. I would have preferred one that was 3' deep.

Most of the single platforms I have built are 2.5' deep. I have one that is 3x3' and it is way too big, though for some reason it has lasted well and we use it often.

The fact I was able to put together some platforms that have lasted (for the most part) speaks volumes. Anyone can do it. HA!

Just wanted to add that if you don't plan on moving the plaforms, then a long single height one would be fine. If it was me, I'd make it 54-56" high.

The single ones are nice for moving and transporting for contests, plus I think staggered heights are much cooler!

You could make a bunch of single ones and drill holes through the side legs and use lag bolts to connect them in whatever configuration you wanted.
