View Full Version : Ozzfest
If you get a chance to go this year I highly recommend it. I worked security for the show here in St.Louis yesterday so I got paid to go. I got a nasty sunburn from standing at the barracades almost all day, but the show was good. I got to kick it with a couple of the bands so it was alright.

I was going to work it this weekend in Wisconin this year but Ozzy pulled out the ticket sales fell out and they canceled it last week.
Friday we have Def Leppard and Journey, Saturday is Sammy Hagar, and then on Tuesday, Warped Tour. It's going to be busy the next two weeks.

I was about 10 yards away from Black Label Society when they came out of their bus and after their performance. They all seemed pretty cool. Disturbed IMO put on the best show. They had a pretty sweet setup. You would definitely enjoy it.

I was there also, great show. Saw one of my favorite bands, Killswitch Engage, they put on a great show. Rob Zombie also played on the 2nd stage @ Ozzfest last year and he put on a good show, was my first time being in the pit :)

oh man..you missed out. I saw them when they came to Albany, was a SICK show. Children of bodom & Mastodon along with LoG and Slayer put on an awesome show, didn't get to see thine eyes bleed though. Me and my teammate bought tickets back in May, we weren't going to miss out on it!
Going to see Hatebreed the 28th in Clifton Park NY, never seen them live so I cant wait!

FYI, Hatebreed rocks in concert. They sounded great onstage. I like them because they actually have a good meaning behind their music instead of kill, kill, kill. lol

I agree about hatebreed. If you look up the lyrics to some of the songs they seem to be more about staying driven to rise above the negative things in your life, than like you said"kill kill kill" lol.I guess different people might have different views on song meanings though.

Exactly. The band actually made a point at the concert to say that. That it was about life experiences and overcoming bad things in your life.
