Thanks. Any idea where I might find it? I've been searching with no luck.

Do a lot of guys use that method when the weights get real heavy?

You sort of have to on the axle. Most people can't deadlift 400 on an axle with a double overhand grip, let alone clean it. The continental allows you to get more weight to the shoulders than a power clean. You could always squat clean the axle, but you better have freaky wrist flexibility to do it!

cleaning the axle is no joke...even if you are strong enough to do it.
When it comes to heavy weights, if you use a medium grip the bar risks to fall off your hands, if you shorten the distance between the hands you'll be able to use more the thumbs then the pull is stronger, but the bar lands into your wrists...
I've become a close grip presser cause with normal width grip couldn't clean the weight before push pressing...
