I arrive in Wisconsin Friday morning but will be stuck at the airport. Is there anyone else arriving around 8am at Appleton that i could ride with to New London? Thanks for any help.

I live in Appleton and will be competing as well. I'd assume you probably want to get out to your hotel right away but if worst comes to worst I need to drive out there later in the day anyways so I could pick you up. I guess just wait and see if anyone else is going out to New London earlier- if not then I can help ya out.

Well, this new diet (which is working well) also has me craving some carb load food! I say, whoever shows up on Friday morning, let's go hit IHOP for some stuffed French Toast!! It's just a few miles from the airport.

So, you're staying in New London? The IHOP I want to go to is in Appleton, about a 35 minute drive from New London. That would be great if you could make it.

If no one is flying in around the same time as Jacob, I'll pick him up at the airport around 9:00. Then, we could all meet at IHOP around 10ish. Anobody else?

I'm lazy and I haven't gotten a hotel room yet...!!! Should I do it soon?
We're driving in Friday and won't get in till late afternoon...or early eve...so can't help on the hike.

I would still try to make it. I do fly in very late Thurs at 11:45 and then have to drive 2 hours to New London, so I'm guessing 3AM by the time I get to sleep if everything goes smoothly. Which means I could get a good 6 hrs. and then wake up for some IHOP!!!

It's all good, can drive back on a full stomach and take a big nap. :D

You might as well. That's too bad you'll miss the burger challenge at around 1:00.

haha...be nice to get that on tape but....maybe we can still though if we head out a little earlier...

My friend the Mule would like to do it.....he is about 5'3" and is like an incinerator..haha..
maybe we try to get there a little sooner just so I can laugh while watching him....!!!

Paul, I thought the burger challenge was later? 1pm really interferes with nap time!

Paul, I thought the burger challenge was at 4pm?
No, then it would be even more difficult to get guys to do it. Having it at 1:00 gives you about 22 hours to digest and poop it out! HAHA Also, I don't want to interfere with Big Tony's "contest-eve lasagna" which will be at his house around 5:00.

If this interferes with the breakfast for you, I'd rather see you do the burger challenge. So far you, Dave Beers, and I think Brandon have stepped up for that, right? Chris Canada also said a while back that he would do it, but I haven't heard from him since.

Okay then.

Assuming I do the burger challenge, when can I weigh in?

Assuming I do not do the burger challenge, when can I weigh in?

I'm a svelte 224 right now but trying hard to gain some weight back, just dont want to overshoot it.

Anyone doing the burger challenge will be allowed to weigh in before-hand, of course!

Paul,

Make sure you have a lot of milk for Brandon to help wash down his burger between bites :D

So, anyone flying into Appleton some time around 9:00 Friday that Jacob can hitch a ride with???

Jacob,
If no one else is flying in around that time, I have no problem picking you up as long as you're down for breakfast at IHOP around 10:00. Then, I'll be making a drive into New London before the burger challenge.
