Back hurts during/after squats

So I just got done back squatting and since about March I get horrible shooting pains down my spine. It feels like some vertebrate are pinching a nerve or something. I've always used a power bar to squat and today I tried a thicker squat bar and seemed to help some. I've popped my back but that doesnt relieve any of the pain. What the hell is going on? Any advice?

might be some herniated disc, if ya can try haning upside down for 10-15min and stretch the spine out. Sounds like its compressed and causing the disc to push on nerves.
