anyone know what's up with him?

He destroyed nationals and the few contests he was in prior to it...but hasn't been competing since? where is he?

Derek Poundstone trains with him. Maybe he will let us know.

I'm sure Derek will have a better idea, but I know Tom was taking care of some injuries. Pretty sure he's the type of guy that expects to dominate, who can blame him and they where driving him nuts. He's still training, saw him at the mohegan show and still have no idea how him or Derek fit in the seats. Actually I think he's doing the pro-am in Wisconsin, anyone know?

I trained with Tom a little over a week ago. He is coming back from some injuries. He had a minor surgery also. He is competing in the Wisconsin show along with a few others from the CT crew.

Tom will come back strong. I have trained with him a bunch of times. He has the most natural brute strength of anyone I have ever seen in my life - and that includes on TV. If he gets his butt in gear over the next year or two - you will be seeing his name all over the place.

Tom has had some nagginging injuries he had adressed along with a minor surgery to a nagging vericose vein in his ankle. I've seen a few stong guys and Tom has the most power of all I've seen. I'm just trying to get ahead of him so he has to catch up to me once he gets started in the pro ranks :T: He will make some heads turn when he gets back into a groove!! His training has been insane lately, I just saw him nail a 370 lb (8") log the other weekend, I forgot to mention, he strick pressed it!!! He is a great training partner (with Tom and April also) and has the strength to push me to train harder!! Keep a look out for him in the near future!!

i remember him as well at the STA '05..and he didn't even know how to grab the bar on the dead lift..he just grabbed it and stood up with it...LOL...it was amazing....

yeh..he is unbelievable...and like you said..if he ever gets rolling..and into a groove...and some experience OH MY GAWD!....he'd be quite the competitor...

it will be good to see how well he does in wisconsin....
