I've just recently put my hands on this stuff and... WOW  ... it' s great. Does anyone knows any good routines with this thing or do you just do the squatlift? I've heard Paul Kelso has a whole chapter on trap bar with routines in his "Kelso's shrug book".

here is the list of trap bar exercises from the Kelso's shrug book:
deadlift (squatlift)
shrugs
upright rows (high pulls)
deadlifts on blocks
stiff leg deadlifts
stiff leg deads on blocks
overhead press
bent over shrugs or lat shrugs
bench shrugs

I love the trap bar. I like to deadlift with it. I find overhead pressing with it is hard on my shoulders though.

I have been using the trap bar in place of my deadlift days from time to time. I can handle about 100 extra pounds on the trap bar. I like to train with the trap bar for the initial strain of picking up farmer's walk implements when I cannot make it to Jared Spybrook's training garage to train.
