I saw a dude doing partial movements today...for EVERYTHING.

i walked in the gym and he was in the middle of squatting 225 with a a 6" rom.

After he finished his partial squat sets, he went onto bench...yup, you guessed it, 225 for reps that barely got his arms to 90 degrees.

On to incline dumbbell press...or lockouts as i call em :BB:

Then on my way out, he was doing the old tricep extension lockout.

:F: :BP:

I love my gym.

Did i also mention the BB type dude that has a pretty big upper body and chicken legs?...i've seen him do lower body twice since i've been there....Leg press with hands pressing on knees routine...very effective.

There's this one kid Bill I introduced the concept of 20-rep squats to, and it seemed like he really liked the idea as he had been lifting for two years with absolutely no weight gain (of course, with a six-day split, too many exercises for one body part, and too much cardio it's pretty easy to see why). When I asked him how the squats were going, he was braggign that he was doing 315 for 20 after only a short time of doing them. Watching him one day, I saw him toss on a belt and knee wraps to do "partial quarter squats". Needless to say, he had a talking to but he's still doing them as he insists it's the right depth :p

What are you, his personal biographer? What did you go to the gym for again? :)
