Alright guys, I am a little annoyed but hopeful about this whole situation. It looks like the New England pro/am on may 14 is going to be cancelled unless there is a whole bunch of entries recieved very shortly. Now I have already paid for a non refundable plane ticket up there and so has a buddy of mine to go with me. Sooo if there is anybody who would like to compete please respond here or even better on the anvil or contact Art Mcdermott ASAP. Even if he has to lower the prize money, I dont care. So go to the anvil and post or send in your entry if you would like to go. Being a college student, wasting money is not a priority of mine. So any help would be much appreciated!-Josh Thigpen

my training partner and I have already sent the entries 2 weeks ago and bought our tickets as well so I feel the same way. Art always puts on a quality show, and has always looked out for the athletes as well.

The show's that I've been to that Art put on have all been great. I didn't even know about this show. Where's the link to the info and how much is the prize money?

Hey Guys,

I work for Art and have been doing what ever it takes so this show does not get cancelled!! But with virtually zero sponsors and only a total of 12 athletes committed and a deadline of May 1st things are not looking all that great. Right now the prize money is as follows, 1500 to first, 1000 to second and 750 to third. While Art is dead against cancelling shows, the reality is, with his new business and additional expenses he can't afford a finacial hit like he has done in the last four years.

While I am going to be beating some doors in this week of some local businesses that owe me some favors, I hope to keep this show alive for Art's sake and for those that have something invested in it.

Thanks
