If you can figure out how this works, someone please tell me. I did it like 20 times this morning and it was right every single time. The only time it wasn't right was when I didn't choose a number and just looked at the symbol.

Simple math Clay, the only numbers possible while using this system are multiples of 9, each multiple of 9 shares the same symbol on the board and the symbles change each time you restart......or it could be Satan at work.
My money is on Satan.

Anytime you take a two digit number and subtract the sum of the two digits you get a multiple of nine. So if you look at the symbols on the page, every multiple of nine is the same symbol.
Examples:
11 - (1+1) = 9: which is 9 X 1
26 - (2+6) = 18: which is 9 X 2
34 - (3+4) = 27: which is 9 X 3
49 - (4+9) = 36: which is 9 X 4
54 - (5+4) = 45: which is 9 X 5
64 - (6+4) = 54: which is 9 X 6
78 - (7+8) = 63: which is 9 X 7
83 - (8+3) = 72: which is 9 X 8
99 - (9+9) = 81: which is 9 X 9

Man, thanks for figuring that out! I knew it had something to do with the symbols repeating themselves!
But how does it know exactly which of the nine symbols I'm looking at?

The symbols for the multiples of nine change everytime you load it.

The first time I tried, I followed the instructions incorrectly, and got a different symbol. I knew it had nothing to do with satan, because satan knows that I don't follow instructions well.
He forgives me for it though.
