This is from a friend who witnessed Mark Henry and comments on the Big Show:
I live in Ontario, Canada. And the autograph session took place downtown, near Berkely Gym. We had a #4 there for Mark Henry to demonstrate his inhuman strength when we wanted to see a simple demonstration of what he could do. We weren't going to hand him a frying pan to bend, or tell him to lift a car. The Giant aka Big Show also has done some autograph sessions here in Toronto. I've seen him and he makes Mark Henry look like a damn light heavyweight. His hands are insanely huge and thick. I believe the Big Show could squeeze that #4 for a good 10, at the minimum.
Just look at these guys. You're not exactly going to see guys like this walking the street. Why do you feel they're incapable, or why do you think I'm telling porkies? Are you in shock that somebody could squeeze a #4 so easily? Or is it beyond belief, simply?
Have you ever seen Mark Henry or the Big Show in person? If you do meet them, shake their hands. It'll all be very believeable to you then when you feel the strength in their hands alone.

I've met him on several occasions. Although I don't deny that he or the Show could close the #4, closing a #4 for 10 is a feat one would have to see to believe. I've also met several powerlifters and football players with huge and strong hands (including Jevon Kearse who wears a 5x glove). I've yet to see anyone who can close a #4 for 10.
Jere, I just want to know why you always try to stir the pot?

Hmmmm... this seems fitting -
NO POSTING OUTLANDISH CLAIMS WITHOUT SOME TYPE OF PROOF
If you have a 12 year old little sister (or wrestler) that can close a #4 out of the package that's awesome but if you can't prove it no one will believe it so don't bother posting it!

Are they bigger than Dominic Filiou?
And what would that prove?

When i was younger i went to a Monday Night Raw at the Fleet Center in Boston... After it was over e hung out near the parking tlot and we got to meet and see some of the people.... Then the gate opened and this car pulled out very slowly, it was like literally a foot away from me so i bent down and looked into the passenger's seat window and it was Big Show......
I got really scared that he would confuse me for a mcdonalds drive up window and grab me........

Not only can the big show close the #4 coc for 100 reps with his off hand...he can do it while pinning paul bunyon and babe the blue ox simultaneously in a handicap match.

At least you are only speculating and not actually claiming that they did it. I guess we should be thankful for the little things-lol!

if paul 'big show' wight can close a #4 for 10 hes doing it with 2 fingers - the ironmind grippers are not designed for 7 foot 1, 507lb giant! this guys hands would make mine look patheticly small, an i have the biggest hands ive ever seen in person
id pay to see him try a hg500, he could maybe fit 3 fingers on it

I've read through this post twice. It says they had a #4 there. I don't see where it says what Henry actually did. Am I missing something?

I still can't figure out why I read these damn posts. It's like you see Jere and it's like a car wreck on the freeway, you just can't help but stare and shake your head.

You know, I was just thinking exactly the same thing. It's like crappy TV. I know I shouldn't watch it, but sometimes I just can't look away...

We all know that a strong handshake means you can close the #4 - isn't this right, Clay? I mean, you've managed it, so you must have one mean handshake :D I love when people talk smack about closing the #4 and don't have a clue in the world as to the true difficulty. It makes me laugh a lot.
Then again, this is the guy obsessed with height and the size of certain parts of anatomy. Makes me think that there are other fetish boards more suitable for someone so concernd with these things...

I'm going to side with Jere' on this one. I'm pretty sure he's not 7'1". I'd say closer to 6'6", TOPS!

Jere is posting what a "friend" stated, he is not accepting liability for these claims. :EB:
Still, he didn't say they did, the dude just said that they "could." We can all add our input, and I think the general consensus is gonna be no, but still....
