Regardless of what anybody else tells you, overages of any fat are always stored the same as any other fat in the body. Linoleic and linolenic fatty acids are hearthier for your cardiovascular system, but the amount more you get in a higher fat grass-fed beef meal is still trivial compared to a lower fat beef. The benefit of doing so would be felt over the course of say, a year as opposed to a month. Another thing to think about is that grass fed ground beef (IMO) does tend to be slightly less juicy (more of a steaky texture) than grain fed beef (probably from a lack of fat in the blood/muscle tissue), so too lean a grass ground fed beef could potentially affect the taste/texture of your meal. This affect is more pronounced in grass fed whole meats like steaks etc., but it's something to think about. I'd stick with the 13% ground beef. It's the lowest percentage I'd go in grass fed; it tastes good and has a healthy fat index, especially so if your goal is reduce bodyfat.

I much prefer the 75 over the 87 ground beef. If you want to lean up, just cut out junk carbs, alcohol (including gin!, and lower your overall arb intake. Increase your green veggie intake. I'm notsuggesting the Atkins diet, but lowering the carbs alway works for me.

I'm with you on the taste of 25 vs. 13. All I'm saying is every little bit helps when dropping fat, and since the 13 doesn't taste considerably different, doesn't cost considerably more, has half the fat fat and 12% more protein per serving, why not?
