I have always had very strong abs and have worked them with specific ab work to a great degree. I do lots of stuff like weighted sit ups, pull down abs with both a band and a cable machine, side bends, etc, tons of other stuff as well. I am experiencing some ab pain at the moment down very low on my right side. At first I thought it was my appendix and ended up having to go to the hospital to play it on the safe side. They gave me a cat scan and it is not my appendix, I asked the doc if it could be a hernia from all of my training and he said that they did not really see anything that would make them think that on the scan. It has gotton some better but I can feel a horizontal band of some kind of hard tissue running along my lower abdominal wall where I have the pain. I am training mainly upper body and things that don't make me use my trunk to a great degree while I wait for it to heal up 100%. I am gonna make an appointment with my regular doc and let him take a look at it to see what he thinks it is for sure and how long it will take to get better. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this. It is really making me angry because it is hanging on and I can not train any heavy squat or deadlifts, etc till it is better. Any prior experiences or wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Please give me your opinions.
