I have been meaning to ask this question for quite a while, but I always forget. In wrestling, I always wrestle inside(obv.)... So.. in the winter.. even if it is a nice day out... would it be the best to go for a run outside... or go to a wellness center, or a gym and do the running where the weather is the same... I was watching Rocky last night and that is what really sparked this question..... Does it really make a difference?

In WI, my favorite time of year to train outside is late winter. Somewhere in the low-mid 30s, snow still on the ground, and the air is crisp. I love it!

When i use to train for wrestling and when i did my triathalons, i ran everyday in every kind of weather.... The first road race i competed in was in a snow storm lol.... Snow, rain cold hot.... Snow... Probaly run only if you can till see the pavement, if not your risking slipping which could seriously hurt your knee's
When i was doing triathalons, there was one day where i did a 14 mile sprint on after, right off the bike i did my first 5:05 minute mile, and it was 103 or so degree's out, agfter that i puked and got really sick.... and that was my last time i ever trained for a triathalon...
60-70 degrees no rain. But we have trained in the snow.i remember once I called james and told him I coudlnt make it out cause of the snow/hail storm.HE CAME AND GOT ME! lol so no there is no weather we dont train in.I hate it when it gets hot and humid though

Fall & spring in New England is the best outside. Cool, 50's with minimal humidy. Warm enough to not have to put on layers of clothes, cool enough that you aren't dripping with sweat like you were in steam room. Once it hits over 80 degrees with any sort of humidy - I suffer big time outside. You won't see me retiring in the dep south.

of Boston, Millis is southwest of Boston between I-495 & Route 128. If you took I-93 south until it turned into 128/I-95 North and got off at Route 109 in Westwood it is ~15 minutes from there on Route 109.
OR...
If you know where Gillete Stadium is in Foxborogh, we are two towns directly above Foxborogh.

In Memphis the summer is always 90-100+ degrees with lots of humidity. I love it, it builds character. Today it’s 74 degrees, that’s great October-Novermberish weather!!
