I was wondering the same thing. Last I heard Lance was going to make some major changes to his product line. He said he was going to try and "upscale" it with higher quality (although the stuff I always got from his was great) and better finish. I don't know if he is still in the process of retooling or what. I hope he didn't stop making stuff, he was always great to deal with and great products. Lance whats up????

He is no longer doing that business. Said he was going back to school and focusing on going Pro.
I say, good for him, I think he's got what it takes for both. :BL:
But I am sure he can more accurately answer.

Is any one else having trouble logging on to Brute Strength's forum? It seems the site is infected. Every time I try logging on I get a message that I have chosen a download and do I want to save it to disk or open it from its current location. I tried going to the BS forum while at work and Norton anti-virus caught the problem, so its not my home PC.

Strongman equipment manufacturers come and go like the wind.
This is nothing new.

It really is too bad. It is a good forum. Probably that little a-hole Wayne. :EP:

Unfortunately I don't have a way to get in touch with Lance, I'd let him know about the infestation.
His site has been hacked a few times in the past... even by a member of Invision's staff (the company that makes the forum software he uses). We were about to institute moderator approval of all new members to curb the spam, but I don't know what he is going to do now with the whole virus thing. Fortunately I use linux, the most those viruses ever did to me was crash my firefox session. Lo and behold, I load his site up at work and get 3 mcafee warnings.

Matt, if you are looking for strongman equipment, I have used Lance's stuff, and Alan's stuff. Alan's log is decent, his farmers are good, I love the design of the crossbar on his yoke, it is very stable; however, we didn't have a very good experience using it because the feet are so short on it... a couple of guys narrowly missed getting face-pinned by the yoke at the Orlando show. I think with longer feet, his yoke would be fantastic.
Second to Alan, my biggest recommendation is to have the items that aren't as complicated, like yoke and farmers, made locally. The Williams Strength logs are rock solid. All of the equipment we train on, was made by locals... including Tom's 150lb 8" log, the 200lb 12.75" log, our yoke, and thickbars. They have all held up very well.
