Cool pics, it looks like you and the tire were intimate ;) .

I have always wondered are the kegs usually empty for the keg toss?

Awesome pictures, thanks for sharing.

I love the keg toss pictures, that thing got wayyy up there.

I am glad to see I'm not the only one who really puts there head through on OHPs.

Damn, Mick; Did Mark lose weight? He looks a lot thinner.

Are you guys still coming up for WASM in June?

Eric,

Empty? Nooooo it was full! As a matter of fact it was full of lead shot! :D

Ryan,

No the WA trip got canceled. I just have too much stuff going on this summer with work and family. I cant do the PFM this year either, but I’m not sure if its even going to happen.

Anyway, if anything Mark has put on a little weight. He got strong as Hell over the winter. He was making me look bad every weekend. He has mentioned dropping a few lbs to try to get in on some of the 200lb contests. If that were to happen I think he could do some real damage. BUT things like the Sacramento Brew Fest have a tendency to keep the weight on him! :D

You have no idea. Oh, you probably do. I didn't know what the hell I was doing with that tire due to the wetness and that I was confused physically because you have to flip the HW tire sumo style (evidently....never did it before that day) Learning experience. Cost me a much higher placing. DANG!

NICE PICS, CHUCKY!!!! It was a good day.

Yeah the HW tire was a real bitch. It was supposed to be the LW tire. I was flipping it in practice and that sumo style flip is not easy to keep going flip after flip.

I liked jamming my hands under the tire and ripping out a few extra pounds of grass and mud with each flip!!!! LOL :D

Great pics, Charles.:) (That OHP medley WAS close. *LOL*)

It was good meeting you there. Hope to see you at some contests in the future.

Yeah it was close. I was really disapointed in myself for not locking that last log. I had done that plus more in training. But I strained my quad on that stupid slick tire event and it made for a long day. When I went to push jerk that last log my right leg just didnt push!
Oh well, thats what I get for being old! LOL :D

So I guess your doing the WA contest? I was going to, but I cant make it. Im hoping to do Reno if the sign up forms ever get posted.

Congrats again on your strong finish!

I should have that last log, too. Surprised me when I went to clean it. Sure didn't feel like 5lbs more than the one before it. *LOL* My legs were a little shot after the tire flip, but not as bad as your, I'm sure. Seeing as how I didn't go anywhere. *LOL*

Yeah, I plan to do the Woodinville contest June 25th. Sending in my entry form today. (I had to wait a while to see if my torn calf would heal up well enough.)

Thanks for the compliments, man. I didn't realize that whole contest was so close between you and I. Good competition. Good luck in Reno, I'll be watchin' for the results.:)

Some suburb of Seattle. I have a map, and it's just up that way somewhere. *LOL*

Everything around Seattle is a suburb of Seattle......;)

Woodenville: Home of Red Hook Brewery. We should have trained for this show Mick. At least Red Hook is one place getting my ass kicked would be ok. In fact, it wouldn't hurt a bit. At least it wouldn't hurt a few beers after the contest. Next year put this on the schedule.

(Maybe we should see if Anheuser Bush in Fairfield will sponsor a show next year????????)

Good luck at Red Hook James

See ya in Reno Mick????

Well that answers my question from the other post.........

That’s GREAT news! Hurry back. Your home is in the D.C. area, right?

I get out that way a few times a year on business. Maybe I can take you and the family out to dinner?

Yeah, I just couldn’t swing the PFM this year. Lack of time more than anything. My summer is just plain booked up.
Besides I need another year to maybe get strong enough to beat YOU!!!!!!! :D

Yeah, I'm in the DC Northern VA Area. Just give me a call.
You'll have to stay over at my place so we can train.
I want to spy on your progress and steal technique.
Do you know anyone in the east coast area on here, most everyone
seems to be from the west coast? :D
