If someone can close 3#gripper can he crush thick bamboo? Master itosu anko (karate master) crushed thick bamboo with his grip. I wanna know this because I'm also martial artist and I need really strong grip.

that's a cool question. I have no idea though! there's no bamboo where I live. I'd like to see it done.

Hey, What's your style. I also did martial arts for a little while. I have a Red belt in Tae Kwon do and a Green belt in Kenpo. I stop training last year, but looking at taking some Muay Thai or probably regular boxing. I love boxing. :D

It would probably matter the outer diamter of the bamboo and the thickness. It probably wouldn't be as hard as a raw potato, which Brookfield has said is harder than crushing a #3 with no set.

No I don't have the video clip. I trained in many style such as karate (blue belt), Teakwondo (spelling?)(Black belt from Korea(kukkiwoon)) and recently jeet kune do with a huge American master. Also am planning to leave the external training and train shaolin kung fu from master wong kiew kit.

EDIT: I think a bamboo isn't easy. It's too hard. I tried this crush myself but I couldn't get it. Master itosu anko's grandstudent was mas oyama who fought 52 bulls in his life. 3 of them were killed with one punch and the others got there horn chopped (I wanna be like him :D ).
