Prizes: probably a combo of supplements and trophies/bags for the ams and cash for the pros.
Date/Time: June 11th, Noon-3pm
Location: Same as last year!!!! Hilton Garden Inn in Eagle, Idaho...(I'll have special rates like last year for those to stay there. Everyone will need to get there own room reservations!!!)
Events: As it looks now, the same as last year: Axle c+p (maybe only 1 clean then press for reps, not sure though), Axle DL for reps, carry/drag medley w/anvils or kegs, arm over arm, last event stones for men and a farmer DL hold for time for women. And in that order too.
Entry fee will be $75 before May 11th, then $90 till June 11th. This is for all competitors (state chairs 1/2 price) in each division: ltwt men, hvywt men, ltwt women, hvywt women. It's all NASS and ASA sanctioned and a qualifier for all...We've always had great weather and a ton of fun...last year Dave Ostlund won his pro-card and 4 ltwts did (the only one that pops into my head is Craig Sarvis). Van Hatfield made his strongman debut here 2 years ago...placing a 360 stone on a 4' box on his first try ever lifting stones too I might add.

If you competed here last year and have some constructive imput on how we could make the show better this year...let me know!!! I'll have an entry up ASAP on my site. As it is now, Dione, Grant "Freaky Tiki" Higa and Jesse "Ladies Man" Marunde will be judging/helping/etc...
Currently, there are 8 (eight) competitors entered in this competition...I believe there are a few coming down from the Marunde/Sarge training complex in Sequim...but no entries yet. If we get less than 20 competitors, plan on a very fast and fun show. The weather should be mid 80s and sunny. We have bleachers, tshirts and great duffles and supplements for prizes. Sponsors include: www.bodybuilding.com, Power Enterprises, Chris Findlay Real Estate, Golds Gym, APEX, and Idaho Chiropractic Group.
