I got one like a month ago and I dont regret it at all...I stopped playin video games for a while appart from gettin the new Madden each year but the 360 made me feel like I was back 10 years ago...You guys should try Gears Of War...online gaming is also kind of fun but I dont play it that much it gets on my nerves, my skills are suspects and I keep getting killed...

I'm going to get the nintendo Wii. I love video games, but they are getting way too out of hand. Way too many buttons and 3D levels. They are becoming too realistic. I play the video games to get away from normal life not to reinact it. If I wanted to punch a hooker and steal a car I'd do so, not act it out in a video game. I like the Wii because you can download all the nintendo classics that I miss like mario and get back to when video games were actually fun.

My dad won a 360 through work and gave it to me, it was the premium edition and I`ve had it for about 9 months now. Yeah, I know, I`m a spoiled little #=?(!)`/`=#(&, and I`M LOVING IT!

I`ve bought over 30 games on e-bay (original Xbox games for about $10-15 a piece) and now that I`ve finished my final exams this year I`m doing nothing but lifting weights and playing Xbox. Got a game called Deathrow yesterday. It involves a team trying to move an object from place A to B like rugby, except they beat each other to a bloody pulp in the process. Good, clean family fun :)
And then there`s Mortal Kombat...hell YEAH!

I feel like a 15 year old playing the first Carmageddon game all over again :)

My friend has Gears of War and I`ve tried it. The graphic was awesome and it was kind of brutal....cool stuff. It seemed like you only used that one automatic rifle with the chain saw attached to it, though, but then again I only played it for a little while.

Well, if you want crappy graphics, then the Wii is definitively your cup of tea :IMHO:

I really don`t like games that involve driving, never have.
But there`s something about racing down the freaking sidewalk with pedestrians flying off your hood that really appeals to me. Its probably some psychological revenge for all those crappy drivers I`ve had to endure as a pedestrian myself. And of course there`s the element of smashing things which all men like :)

I just don't find all of these new games very fun. There is to much involvement in them. I don't want to have to master a 15 button controller just to play a game. I just want to play the classics that are available for download to the Wii. I know the graphics aren't as good, but that's not the point.

When I tore my calf in May I must have put in 60-70hrs in a week with Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.

I couldn't do anything else. I was on crutches and just getting up to pee was an accomplishment in itself.

Agree 100%
Adam have you ever heard of MAME, http://www.mame.net/ ? If you haven't check it out, it allows you to play all the old standup video games on your PC with an emulator. One of my winter projects is to build a stand up arcade game box with joystick, buttons, and a track ball and put a PC in side so you can play all the old arcade games on a realistic stand up machine.

That is a great line and should be in your signature. :YR:

I haven't had a game system since the Atari 2600. Actually I still have it. I'll take the joystick and single button anyday. I have no use for a game controller with more buttons than I have fingers.

FWIW, I was playing my nephew at some fighting game he had (I don't recall the name of it, or even the platform, but it did have Nintendo characters - Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, etc). He kept pushing some combination of the approximately 14,238 buttons on the controller, while I kept pushing "A" really fast. He got really pissed when I won. :M:

I'll check that out. A guy I work with, an electrical and environmental tech, has made a hand held original nintendo. He bought the nintendo on ebay for $30 and a small LCD screen at our BX and put it all together in a small tupperware. It's rear loaded like the original gameboy and has a flip up screen. It is a bit clunky though. It's bigger than that handheld sega thing they had before. Still cool though.

How about a Wii toss for height at the WSM? That too would be pretty sweet.

Did you see the link to the game? Imagine a multi format "Phil Pfister's Strongman!" or better yet for the Nintendo Wii.
