I am glad i competed, would do it again without a second thought, but now my back is hella sore after doing the 500x8 on Sunday and then doing a 535x3 on Teusday.
To show no hard feelings i would like to say that Grant Higa is a very experienced lifter and i would let him load my weights any time. :D
Jamie - See you in Woodinville as a competitor

That write up was excellent, although there were a few mistakes. I love Jesse's mom because she is cool and did an awesome job scoring. Just for my own lifts, I loaded 5 of the 6 stones, successfully axle pressed 310, and i missed 330 (albeit by the smallest of margins). Just wanted to clarify.
Good job Jacob! I can't believe you edged me out......if i had just not fallen with those farmers walks 12 feet before the end........i would have had a time of like 150 feet in about 10 seconds ahhaahah to be fair bud you had to do the event twice cause the poop fell apart on you. You handled it VERY WELL. I would have killed somebody.
Good luck dude! It was great meeting you and going to battle together!!

Dan - You are definately stronger than me but i capitalized on two mistakes. I guess Modi smiled on me that day. I look forward to once again meet in battle at Nationals.

Centeral Catholic all the way! Hey Jess, you know these two were coached up by my bro Justin Scott, who is also a native Idahoan. Great job boys, Scott has nothin but great things to say about you both. Keep up the good work.

right on. well Scott's doing something right. these guys were power cleaning axle weights that most highschoolers never see on an olympic barbell.
how nice of you to stop by. been missing you... :D

I second that...those kids from Oregon were cleaning the Axle like they had used it the whole time. It was great to see them battle with Chris Lee. Then, they rocked on the Stones!
Young bloods bringing it on! AWESOME!
Higa.

i third that, the kids were incredible. for a 16 year old to be able to generate enough explosive power to power clean well over 200 lbs, especially on an axle is insane. we better see at least some 300 lbs cleans out of both them well before they graduate. i look forward to competing against these two for years to come, given they persue strongman. it would be a shame for either of them not to persue it, they're both incredible strength athletes.
i agree with grant, it was awesome battling it out with these 2.
by the way elliot, i loaded our 270 stone, and got the 305 almost lapped last weekend, so you better watch out brother!

Hopefully, they will be wearing an Oregon State University football jersey in their future with all of their physical potential! :YT:

haha, yeah i bet. i think im gonna try to load our 305 this weekend, i got it off the ground a decent amount last weekend, just didnt lap it. anything i can lap i can easily load. the 270 was about as easy for me to load as a 225, no struggle at all.

chris, that stone is yours especially after last weeks performance. training with tacky rules!!!!! maybe you loading the 305 will be incentive for me to load the 378 provided I can get it out of my lap unlike last week! Ill see you tomorrow
