Sounds like Phil is focusing on the Arnold.
IMHO, Phil has an excellent chance at getting 2nd place overall in the 2007 Arnold Classic Strongman ....
How about Phil winning the Arnold? as we saw at WSM anything can happen.
Two upsets in a row? :D
Pudzian was considered (by just about everybody !) unbeatable in the WSM event format.
Experts said Pudzian couldn't be defeated. ......things changed.

If Phil can move up a place or two on the apollons axel -and move up a place or two on the frame carry(didn't do that well on the frame carry last year) then win the circus dumbell press(instead of tieing for first) he should move ahead of Mikael and Vasyl this year for 2nd place overall.
I think Phil was MUCH stronger at the 2006 WSM than when he was at the 2006 Arnold(where he placed 4th) Link to2006 Arnold Classic Strongman distances/weights/scores. (www.arnoldsstrongestman.com/2006_arnold.htm)
In 2007 he will be-even stronger.
With mobility and stamina being less of an issue at the Arnold(than it is @ WSM)he will likely come in even heavier...with more muscle mass and size.
After watching Phil defeat pudzian it has become apparent that Anything can happen....and even Zydrunas can be defeated.

Sorry, but I can't see him beating Mikhail or Vasyl. Top 4, maybe. Misha I am sure will do better than last time.

I loved the footage they had of him at the 2001(?) WSM in the 2006 WSM broadcast where he was screaming about how he was going to bring the title back to America one day. That was intense.
