The wife does not get any of this, but she tried. I offered to give her web sites, but she only got offended and said she could find some stuff her self.
Well she got me:
(3) blocks of chaulk
(1) small tube of tackey
(1) tackey cloth thing
(1) set of grippers (standard sports store stuff)
(1) finger strengthening gripper thing.
(1) set of lifting bands
(1) squishy stress ball grip training thing.
(1) autographed picture of Hulk Hogan
Its a start and I am thankful for what ever she got me.

I bought my wife a car, which was a major relief to me because I no longer have to worry about her POS Volkswagen breaking down to and from work or with my son in the car. So that was pretty much a present for both of us.
However, she also let me get a MILO subscription and I picked up Jim Schmitt's Olympic Lifting course through IronMind. There isn't much else from IM that I don't already have or don't want. I probably should have hit her up for a subscription to STRONG as well...

I gotta be honest with ya - you seem to have gotten screwed on the whole gift exchange. lol
Seriously, now that I have a little girl (she's almost 2) it's like I'm a kid again. I'm so excited on Christmas morning to have her and my wife open what I got them. My wife and I don't tell each other what we got for our little girl, that way we'll be surprised too.
I really have just about everything I need for the gym. Got some new elbow sleeves, and got Practical Programming from Rip - great book! Other than that just got an assortment of stuff - clothes, bible, digital camera, etc.

I was lucky, my wife called my training partner and asked him what she should buy.
Squat suit
knee wraps
ammonia caps
and she gave me an I.O.U for a lever belt since the people she was ordering from were out of stock.
I was so anxious to use the suit and wraps I had to take my 130lb daughter and try and squat her a few times, since all gyms here were closed on Christmas

I basically got a light for my bedroom (mum wanted my wooden one for the lounge!) and a few sweet and chocs. Dad got me a celtic knotted bandana, looks really cool.
Basically despite having health insurance, my ear surgery this month cost my parents US$2000, which was dads whole bonus. So I'm not complaining at all!

-Ironminds bench
-nicoflex
-tiger balm extra strength
-Swedish flag (I'm counting this as lifting because I've wanted a Swedish flag to hang by my implements since before I've had implements)
-Viking Adventure game (anyone have kids or is a Viking nerd like me go buy this game, fantastic)
I'm pretty big into the whole Viking heritage thing so I throw all Viking paraphenilia into the lifting catagory. I also spent some time with my 106 year old great Aunt from Sweden who spoke to me for a couple hours about my heritage. That was unbelievable.

The only lifting paraphernalia I got this year was a felt hood/face mask that I can wear during cold training to keep my face and breath warm. I asked for work clothes (button down shirts, slacks, etc.) and I got a lot of them, so that was cool. Also got the Avenged Sevenfold CD. I bought myself an early Xmas present by getting a bunch of 3/4" plywood and building a platform to drop stones onto. I'm going to pick up the rubber mats this weekend.
