It has now been a week since my shoulder injury. I'm not quite sure if its in the rotators, as I experience mild discomfort in the side deltoid when bathing and reaching over at certain angles.

The doctor recommended that I stay away from training for two weeks although he also pointed out that the injury is not joint/tendon related. Just tissue inflammation, so he gave me ANSAIDS for that.

Now, I'm really starting to miss training, and the anguish of not being able to train for a whole week, I'm sure most of you guys have been there at some point.

Can I afford to start training or is it too early?

I can hear a popping sound in my left shoulder sometimes when I raise and fully extend my arm either to the front or side. My left trap feels a bit stiff at times too, especially in the mornings. No pain though.

surgery is a luxury. You are fortunate to have gotten it. If anyone tells you to go ahead and train from a description of the problem on the internet.. Do not listen. Dont do anything foolish. follow doctors orders.
