I know finally an end to one of the most despotic rulers of the 20th century :mag: , however I am afraid and pray for the troops over in Iraq, due to the increasing violence that is bound to happen from the Saddam loyalists.

To those who serve or have ever served thank you. :YR:

I live in Israel, and even though I'm very happy that this man, who caused so much damage around here (middle east) is dead, I'm also concerned about the fact that the way is clear now for Iran to begin terrorizing everybody again.

Also, many people were killed during the "battles" that followed his death.

Saddam's death won't have as much positive effect on peace in the middle east as the media is playing it up to be. If anything, it only further continues the instability in that area. There has never, ever been peace in the middle east. It's been a hell-hole for virtually all of recorded history!

Except when it was the birth place of civilization and after that became the hub and mecca of science, math and literature for centuries. Than the religions began to fight each other and it is amazing how war and greed can knock a civilization back to the stone ages, literally.

the video of his hanging is already up on video google. And I didn't feel a bit morbid nor ghoulish about watching it.
