Just seen this. Absolutely amazing stuff. For everyone who doesn't know, Patrick (the guy attempting that #3) is a #4 closer. He is currently working towards a #4 cert (credit card rule...). Let's all wish him good luck.

Am I the only one that noticed he closed it somewhat with his other hand a little bit before he attempted that? Just thought I'd point that out. Still impressive though...

yes, that's called "setting". It is allowed to set the gripper to parallel with the other hand for most certifications and competitions. This was also true for Ironmind grippers but they changed the rules a few months ago with the new creditcard set.
