First question is are any pro's going to have any meet and greet spots? Secondly, any tips or pointers for someone going for the first time?

Most pros are by their sponsers tables.

My advice would be to take your time in the expo, you can get caught up in walking past stuff when its crowded. Also try and figure out what is going on when, I had wanted to see some Oly lifting but I screwed up and didn't know when it was and got there right after the big boys went. It did allow me to talk to Randal Strossen 1 on 1 though which was a learning expierience for sure.

I can't wait, my buddy is working the Animal Pak set up this year so I'm hoping he maybe can get me some ins somewhere with even more free stuff :marv:

See ya there man!

I think I am going to get a shirt made with my name on it real big. I have been wanting these shirts for a while anyways.

Well if you hurry you can maybe get a booth at the Arnold and sell them, I'm sure they'll be going like hotcakes.

Yeah, that's the problem I would never be able to keep up with demand so it would not be fair to all.

I'm assuming Jesse Marunde and Mariusz will be standing around the MET-RX booth---which is usually massive. I've never seen the Europeans walking around the EXPO floor, just at other places. I think they are too busy preparing and relaxing.
Travis Ortmayer and Steve MacDonald are competing this year so they should do a meet and greet IMO.
Travis might have some really cool stuff to give you, you'll just have to find him though.

I can't wait to meet Benni Magnusson and Mikhail Koklyaev.

What hotel are you staying at?

Tips: Exercise your eyes before coming. This way all the darting around will not give you eye DOMS.

Pointers: Bring $10 to give to Lou Ferringno so he will take a picture with you and sign one of his model shots.

If you like Bison meat make sure you drop by Ted's Montana Grill in the Arena District. I know Ted Turder is a liberal that you don't like..but the burgers are good.

me tired...more later.

$10!?I paid $20 the first year we went.It was worth it to me,but now I see it as a little bit of a rip off.I guess the guy has to make money too(although Im sure hes not hurting anyways..),but it bugs me to see fans(especially kids)get turned away when they just want a picture with him.If you keep your eyes open, youll see just about anyone that you want to.I couldnt even start to list all of the pros Ive met there just walking around.

I am totally stoked to meet Koklyaev. If you find out where he is let me know. I will PM you my cell phone number so we can meet up. Also, I would rather give Ortmayer $15 for an autographed action pic, than Ferrigno 10 for a beauty shot.

I'm going to pimp myself here a bit and say that both Dave Rosland and I will be there. It would be nice to meet some of you folks. I'll be sure to have my own charity band on so I'll be easy to spot... lol, right. ;) It would also mean a great deal to see a few supporters out and about in Ohio as well.

No doubt, also work on your poker face and blank stair if bringing along a female companion.

I would recommend not bringing along a female companion, you would have to look away too much and you would miss too much, aside from THAT.

Sounds good to me, send me your number. I'll place it in the gay personal ads too, they like your persuasion here.... haha j/k hope you don't kick my ass when we meet!

Yeah Ferrigno turned down a friend of mines kid for a simple picture...he wanted them to buy his glamour shots. Apparently he's said that he learned to be more "business -like" after the Pumping Iron movie came out. He didn't like how he was portrayed and wanted to be more like Arnold was. I think he missed the mark there too. I like Ferrigno's Hulk and all, but....oh well.

Be good to meet up with Jordan too. Aaron what pro's have you met, tell us a story or something!

How do you guys think the Arnold Strongman contest is gonna go down? Zydrunas is gonna have a rough time at this one...that's no doubt. This is for sure going to be a historic contest.

More later on guys!

Ive seen Arnold,Tripple H,Sylvester Stallone, and tons of other people.I used to dog on all of the guys that werent very nice, but everyone has bad days. One thing I tell people is to not be disappointed if they meet someone that they really look up to,and they arent the friendliest. Most everyone Ive met has been really cool though! If I ever get a scanner Ill scan some of the pics from the first year I went.Im still not very big,but I found one from the first year I went,of Jesse and I when I was like 215lbs.I look friggin tiny in all of the pictures.I think Ill only be going sunday this year, but hope to run into some of you.
