Well I just kinda figured it out figured I would post how I did it...Dont know if this is against the rules and if it is I apologize...

Trying to save the video by seeking out the video code in the source is a pain, believe me I tried it, but I found a website that will do all of that for you. The website Keep vid allows you to paste in the code of the website from youtube (or even google video) and then you can download the file in .flv or flash video format. You can check that website out at KeepVid.com For example, enter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yzx5hJRBAc (The Texas Stoneman Video which was sweet btw :marv: ) into the section where it asks you to enter the URL into the bar so it can give you the link to downloading the movie.

Now when you get the flash video you can do one of two things I've found. You can A) Get a video player that plays flash videos or B) Convert the format of the video from .flv to .avi or .mpeg. If you wish to do the easiest thing and get a player to view the video, a good choice is to use the free, yes keep that word in mind FREE FLV Player that is offered from the website VLC Media Player

However if you wish to try to convert the .flv movie to .avi or .mpeg there are literally hundreds of programs that can do this. Many of them require you to pay for them, but there are ways to get around that, I however believe that you should look for free demos and possibly free software to do the job. Riva is a great program that can convert the files pretty easy. A guide on how to use this program can be found at Riva Guide

I hope people can save their favorite videos now. Hope I helped a little bit and hopefully didnt break any rules in doing so :)
