I'm sooo lost right now.

I've seen 200s refer to themselves as LWs

And I've seen 231s refer to themselves as LWs

Are both LWs?

And if so do they keep the records separately? Cuz someone just mentioned a 325 record in axle press for LW. Which, while possible, I find hard to believe in the 200lb class.

Cuz i'm looking at some of these 'LW' performances and thinking "this guy is 5'2" or "wow I REALLY suck" or "that must be a 231"

HELP! I'm scared!!!

It depends on how the contest is set up.

Some contests are set up LW(>231) and HW.

Others are set up LW(>200), MW(201-265), and HW(266+).

As Dane stated, some contests 200 and under are LW whereas other contests 231 and under are LW. You will see a MW class listed at alot of contests though there is no true MW class when it comes to Ntls., just LW and HW.
Either way, 231 and under is a LW as far as Ntls. is concerned so I would use that as your weight gauge.
