Faith Forum...The strength that lives in us...
Hi, nobody here knows me but I am one of two moderators for a faith based forum for Highland Games atheletes and for Strongman competitors. The forum has the following disclaimer but other than that please join us if you are interested. The link is at the bottom:
Neither USSF, nor any of the contributors/viewers to the forum, bear any personal or legal responsibility for the discussions therein. There is no endorsement in any way shape or form by the USSF of this forum or any specific faith. All contributions, regardless of their brilliance or lack thereof, are to be considered opinion. All contributors and viewers take full responsibility for their own actions and thoughts in life and this forum. If you are a "victim" personality please stay away from this forum until you are mature enough to take responsibility for yourself. (That was rough wasn't it?) Your agreement to these terms is guaranteed to USSF and all concerned upon your entering into the forum's page. Welcome Strongmen, Strongwomen, and Highland Atheletes.
This forum is for several things. Some of which are: Inspiration, encouragement, learning, discussion, debate with courtesy, as well as other stuff as it makes itsself known.

So your first and only post here is to advertise some other crappy forum?
You're the man.

Ryan,
I don't make money on it brother. Just thought there might be an interest. Sorry you got offended but I don't apologize for the first and only thread. You might get lucky and I might put up another thread! Then you can :BB: me a second time! I'm used to it.

After 2000+ years we're still being persecuted!!! Geesh...when will it ever end?
Thanks for sharing the site John -- I've already added it to my favorites.

Actually, I think what Ryan was wondering was will you be linking to all the sites that you've joined simply to post a URL to your own site. i.e. Will there be a section of your site with the URL for this site, and any others that you've joined purely for the purpose of promoting your own site, on it?
Seems pretty reasonable.

Ian, in that light I understand the comment. Right now, to the best of my knowledge a faith forum geared towards our kind of atheletes is unique on the web. The USSF site doesn't belong to me. I only acquired permission to set up the forum as a help site for those of the Christian faith and those who might be interested in it. I'm highland game athelete and have only had recent experience in a couple of strongman events. I'm a little new to the strongman family and USSF is geared to both sports. They were nice enough to give me permission to co-moderate the forum. I just don't want to leave anybody out and that is my purpose in providing the link. I'm definitely not trying to rob people from loyalties to any organizations. It's only meant as an additional resource for people I feel might be able to use it.
Thanks for your insight though!

For those of you who don't know, Geesh is the son of Gosh. (OK, a little dry humor)
Don't sweat it Marylin. A guy once laughed at me because I was praying before a contest. (The one in Hastings MN) I smoked him on the first event, and then he quit laughing.
Thanks for linking your site John. I'll be sure to check it out later.

The joke was good.
I laughed at you in Hastings too but for different reasons. :M:

I laughed at Paul too but not because he was praying it was because Kelly Guest freaked out on him when he told her that she was calling wrong order and score for people.

HAHA! Well, someone had to step up and say something. No matter how polite I was about it, she sure did get bent out of shape, and I also got a good laugh out of it. :D
