One of Chris's friends passed away two days ago in a car accident. Chris showed up to squat yesterday anyways. We live in a small town so it's a pretty emotional incedent for the whole town. Tomorow is another crazy tough workout. Send Chris some good vibes!

Chris, tear it up tomorow bro. Be strong. Stay focused on good things.

yours in strength and honor,

Jesse

When tragedy like that happens, it really makes you take stock in what is important. I'm truly sorry to hear the news Chris - stay strong and remember you are not alone. You have family, friends (like Jesse) and us on the board to lean on!

My sincere condolences.

It was this time of year five years ago when I lost a good friend in a car accident.

Remember the good times.

I don't think Chris has read this thread yet. He tore it up in the gym today. His head is up and he's chuggin forward like any champion would.

thank you all so much, it really means a lot to have this kind of support. sorry i didnt respond earlier, i havent been on the board since the accident. im so thankful to have what i have going for me in a time like this, it helps so much to have something your dedicated to, especially with as close knit of a group as i'm a part of, to get you through things like this. i'm doing a lot better now, i went up to the scene of the accident at midnight the other night, expecting to be alone, but there were still people there even then, and we just shared stories and stuff. my friend was really one of those people who wouldnt want anyone to be sad about him. today is his funeral service, so hopefully i can get some closure from that, and start to move on.

it's moments like these, as tragic as they are, that define who we are. Everyone, you'd be as proud of Chris as I am if you were here to witness his champions attitude.

stay strong
