Hey Jesse-
I never bought into the CoC gripper franchise. Pricewise, they were a little expensive when I was looking to buy, so I ended up buying a set of Heavygrips instead. The last time I closed a #3 Coc it was pretty easy, but now (a while after) I'm repping the HG300 20-30 reps. Still haven't tried the HG400/500 (I think I could close the 400). I was just wondering if you have any experience with the HGs and could contrast them (difficulty wise) with the CoCs i.e. HG300 vs. CoC #3. Thanks bro.

Actually bro I've never even seen one. I'd like to give a shot though. Where's the best place to buy em?

I've seen HG300's that are easy #2's and some that are hard #3's. There's no real consistency in the grippers. My 250 and my 300 both have handles that are set at different depths on the spring. This means that from one direction they're easier than the other becuase of the longer handle. The IM grippers are generally higher quality. If you're looking for gripper variety, try the Tetting grippers. They're at www.wwfitness.com or cheaper by calling the man directly at 651-222-1889. If you're looking for the highest quality gripper try the RB grippers. They're at handgripper.net (http://www.handgripper.net/neu/www/index.php)

haha, now that I think about it, maybe you should only play with the grippers AFTER you do the farmer's event with 400 per hand. Man, that is just beastly weight...

Hey Clay-
Are you living in WA now? Last I knew you were in Gilroy or Salinas or someplace.

Nah, still in Salinas. Moving to Rio Rancho, NM soon though.
