My wife is a figue champ!

She just competed in her first figure comp and won. She has been selected to do some photo shoots too. I am so flippin proud of her! When I get pics I'll post them.

FYI, Adam's wife used to be on the Seattle Sonics dance team, so she is a fit individual.

A few years ago, when they were in the USA, she also made some AWESOME Filipino food for us one day at the Warehouse! Adam was smart to introduce her to us with her delicious cooking!

I don't know the level. She said if she wins another though that she could go pro. She did it in the FAME competition. It is a really neat deal. They try to get max exposure for their athletes with photographers and all kinds of stuff.


Thanks Jesse. She should be getting back to Dover tomorrow and will hopefully post them so I can see them too. As soon as I see them though I'll put them up. I'm used to her causing traffic though so this won't be a big thing :D

This is a very rapidly growing sport/activity.
A lot of former BB'ers and frustrated 'former athlete' moms getting into it.


My wife is doing a Figure comp in two weeks.Her first.
Some drug free organization-?-Supposedly 40+ women signed up so far and it's just a small midwest show.

Just 12 weeks ago she decided "to get back into shape"---
-this after about a 3 year lay off from the gym(which she owns) --stopped training partly because of our 2 1/2 year old daughter and partly because of her own 70 hour a week business schedulle--which hasn't changed.
Right now she looks pretty lean-- and she's always been a bit of a genetic freak anyway. :D

Her and 3 girl friends all doing it --mostly for fun--if things turn out "ok"she'll do another one.
The diet and training is grueling--or grueling to watch.

Dude I know what you mean. I tried to eat as lean as her to help keep her on track. I gave up after 3 days. Good luck to her. It sounds like she will be competing for FAME as well. They are drug free, my wife had to take a drug test after she won.
