I found some real big tires in a field and was told I could take whatever I want.
There is a 23.5-25 so thats good but there is also some real big ones, some of the sizes I could read (tires are stacked on top of each other) are.
21.00 R35
37.5.25R - 35
45/65R 45
anybody have any general idea on what these might weigh?
Thanks

tire weight
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
nick, i e-mailed goodyear your tire # and here are some results(seems that there are other #'s on the tire which will distinguish the weight)
Hello Dan,
The weight of a 26.5R25 tire varies based on the manufacturer, the load rating (ply rating or star rating), tread depth, and individual construction characteristics. Listed below are some weights for Goodyear 26.5R25 tires that are in the current product line.
GP-2B is approximately 960 lbs.
RT-3B is approximately 1090 lbs.
RL-2+ is approximately 1110 lbs.
RL-5K is approximately 1490 lbs.

Thanks, the link to the firestone/bridgestone site helped alot
Well looks like the weights are
45/65R 45 is 5000+lbs
37.5/25R - 35 is around 2200-2500
21.00 R35 is around 1300-1500
I'll go pick up the 21.00 R35 and the 23.5-25 not sure what use I would have for the others!
