The olympic gym I lift at has been looking into getting a glute ham raise and I'm supposed to find the one to buy. My question for everyone is which have been the best ones youve used and which are the best for your money? The ones I keep running into are the elitefts collegiate and the sorinex, any others that you guys know of that are good quality and value. Thanks in advance

Just get one with a good pad, big foot plate, and adjustable height of the foot holster.

to expound on what matt said try to get one with a firm pad so it won't give when you start using weight. Also try to get one with a wide foot plate, the wider the better

i've used 3 different ones and i would say go with the elitefts one...imo it is the best built, although it is pricey....i would also not get one that has roller type pads(forget who makes it) on the front portion(where you lean over it)...my cent.

oh..and if you go on elitefts you may be able to find a used one a bit cheaper, look in ironbrothers or new section, and sometimes wendler's log.

Whatever you do, do NOT go with the NYBB / TDS model. It may be cheap, but you'll quickly find out why. I got the combo reverse hyper/GHR and it's the biggest piece of sh*t I've seen. Missing parts, framework that can tweak and bend over time...may have been 1/3 the cost of a good one, but I'll tell you, I regret my purchase greatly so don't cut financial corners and end up with something that sucks.
