Props to Alan and Pitbull! - best service ever!

Just wanted to give props to Alan at pitbull. Last week I ordered some farmers from him that I needed for my upcoming shows (as the only farmers I had were 1 3/4" handles and a 12" pickup)

Literally 18 hours after ordering them they were on my doorstep!!!!!

I now have just about everything Alan makes and ALL of it is top notch stuff. If you guys are thinking about getting some equipment, this is the guy to go to.

I'm hoping my 1.3" smooth handles 18" pick farmers will get me ready enough.

I've never trained on anything other than those (brutestrength) and my other pair which are 1.5" with an 18" pick alumitech farmers.

Nah, the ones I have are horrible. They have medieval knurling on the handles, a 12" pickup, and just awful to use. The knurling would take every callus off your hand with anything over 300.

So I just needed a good, regular set of farmers - the ones Alan made me are just standard 16" pickup with ~1 1/4" handles.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've noticed that every company I've ordered strength equipment from has been high quality and very well serviced. Two particular examples are ironmind and elite. I had an issue with a $18 order once with elite and I was treated like I was their main customer. APT does well also. I'd like to think that working your ass off to lift heavy things instills a certain set of values.

I'll try to keep this in mind when I order extra farmers for our contest in fall.

Alan does incredible work, I got my farmers in no time flat and was very pleased with the results. I gotta let him know I'm ordering more stuff soon....

Got my Pitbull Log today, it's like Christmas in June!!

12", black steel, solid, looks great. Weighs roughly 87lbs, and was on my back deck 6 days after I ordered it :marv:

not to bump an old thread, but i ordered a sled and yoke from alan. Looking forward to trying out the yoke tomorrow, but i'm extremely happy and impressed with alan and the quality of his products!
