I really enjoy taking pictures. I've always wanted to be able to make pictures like these but I didn't want to buy photoshop to do it.

how do you make the pics look like that? ive downloaded the program but cant figure out how to do what youve done

I duplicate the layer, then desaturate the top layer, then use the erase/transparent tool over the part of the pic I want to. :)
