I was on the recipe page the other day and I noticed one for "tuna shakes", well after reading it I thought; blend up tuna and o.j. no way in hell; that sounds :disgust: . After a couple of days of thinking about it my curisoty finally got the better of me.

Today I had my first Tuna Shake and you know what they aint too bad, two cans of tuna = 60 or so grams of protiene + all of the vits. and mins. in orange juice. Plus they dont lay on you stomach like a large protiene shake does either.

Might be something to slug before you head out the door in the mornings

I don't think there is enough carbs in it for a morning meal unless you were trying to lean out and cutting carbs on purpose. Great between meals or before bed snack any time though.

Amazingly it actually tastes good! Any one else ever try it?

I'll give 100 rep points to anyone who posts a video of the blending, pouring and drinking of any recipe tuna shake. try to keep it under 30 seconds.

OJ is loaded with carbs (sugar) in the form of fructose.

You'll never beat Dave Ostlunds tuna shake. It may not win on taste, but it wins on awesomeness. 2 cans of tuna, a baked potato, and water.
