Dale (D.Norris) is making me drink 2 pints of protein shakes a day and for a teeny tiny girl like me its not very nice and makes me feels sick and bloated.

Because of this Dale has tried to hide the protein in porridge but its still a bit too much to take (and porridge tastes :disgust: anyway!)

Can anyone think of way to up my protein intake by hiding it in a smoothy or a sandwich or something? Please HELP!

*Ive been looking in the recipies section and plan to make Dawsons snackbars but with more protein in and the oatmeal pancakes with more protien powder.....lets just home i don't burn the kitchen down! *

there is a thread about icecream that i started and Ryan Rhodes gave a recipe for icecream using protien powder, my computer is retarded so i cant give you the link though.

They "Dawson snackbars" rock, I can live on those things, I had to experiment with the honey, PB, and Protein mixture a little to get a texture that I liked and didn't crumble too much.

Grab a spoon and eat it from the can, once you get used to that you wont mind it anywhere else. :IMHO:

as usual Bec is telling porkys! she has half a pint of protein drink before training and half after training twice a week!

Im really struggling to up her protein intake she doesn`t like drinks! she lives on fruit not a big meat eater, hates fish and eggs!

I think you answered the question yourself. Hide it in a smoothie! I get sick, too when I drink it too fast. If I dilute it with a lot of water and drink it over a half hour or so, it settles better in my stomach.

I've seen Callie mix just enough water with protein to make a thick pudding like mixture that she puts in the freezer to get real cold, then she eats it with a spoon.

I'm going to try to mix some in pudding (homemade is mostly milk and eggs...)

Why does D.Norris have you drink it before and after workouts? Is there a health benefit? All food makes me sick if eaten before or after a work out.

Let me know what you come up with... AND congrats on your training!

Im sure he just does it as a form of punishment!!
He makes me drink one before training and that makes me feel sick....which consequently makes me feel sick after everything whilst training!

Callies pudding thing sounds good especially in the hot weather were having now!

Ill post after trying to make Dawsons snack bars....but im going to add some fruit! (I hope they taste just as good with added protien powder! :p )

I mix my protein powder in with my oatmeal pancakes.. I got the rcipe off the recipe section of this site. I just add a scoop of whey protein to the egg whites and oatmeal oh yeah add some splenda.. whip it up and pour it into a hot skillet.... then pour on some sugar free syrup... ah luv it

you could put in oatmeal after it cooks, and add some sweetner and berries!!! Yummy!!

most importantly you need to find what you like!! If you dont like your food youwill not eat it or pick crappy choices!! Ofcourse I just love grassland steak and london broil!! had some today right off the grill!! Also Love the vital choice fish!! Eat it everyday!!

I made Dawsons bars! They are YUMMAYY!!
A bit sweet for me but they're nice straight from the fridge.
I added raisins which made all the difference. I will definatley be making these again...although im not sure how much protein powder Dale put in (We kinda guessed the measurements of everything!)
