cool man. max lifts; I don't know, strongman is tough sport to determing max lifts. it's all about who is strongest on whichever events are chosen. I squat around 700 and deadlift around 800, and I don't bench. there are a million other lifts, any in particular that interest you?

sweet. I remember a article with you and JV Askem about your theories on olympic lifting and benching. I too, see my clean related to my bench. How is that possible?

Well, it's actually the jerk related to the bench, and the clean is usually close to the jerk so in a round about way the clean predicts the bench. The jerk is a better indicator though.

Jesse,
what is the heaviest stone you've ever loaded and to how high? Also I ran across a pic. of you loading a 385 stone (ironmind I think) and that stone looks bigger than our 460 whats up with that? One more. do you incline bench, Ive started to do that more than flat as it keeps a decent chest appearance while also helping with shoulder (overhead) seems like? I know strongmen arent supposed to care what we look like but outward appearance reflects inward feelings!!! hahahahhaha your opinion?
oh yeah glad to see the site is back up!!!

I loaded a 440 stone in Hungary in 2003.
a 385 that is solid cement has a pretty large diameter. you can add iron to a smaller diameter stone and make it 460. that's probably what happened.
hey, there's nothing wrong with being pretty ;)

ah you probably just need a good waxing. the pain makes you stronger!
I don't know how high it was. Must not have been that high because my biggest stone load in the states is 380, which I've done on a couple occasions to under 54" heights.
