FYI-

If anybody is looking for weights, you need to check this out ASAP. I went into Sears today and bought 1500# (5 sets of 300#) of Weider olympic bumper plates and 5 barbells for $280. Yeah, their Weider, but they're pretty nice, especially for the price. The price on the website is $275 a set! If you go into the store and have them ring #157390, it comes up on clearance for $56 a set. Thats only 18 cents a pound! The also have an olympic bench (#150300) for $30 ($135 online)on clearance if you buy it the same way, as well as a couple other universal style gyms most of us probably wouldn't use. Get in to Sears before they're gone.

Here are the weights online.

Not working at the Sears' in Central Iowa - they are listed at $189 on sales from $275. I even had them punch in the code you listed and it was $189. It was easy to check my local stores - just check online if it is available at a store near you, and then call them with the codes from above. They will be able to give you the price over the phone - saves you a trip. Thanks for the info - it was worth a try.

OK people, I've been given the solution to getting the deal. The Aberdeen, WA Sears called me after "receiving numerous calls about the weight set". I was informed that the deal was limited to this store and possibly a couple of others in the area. I was also told that if you call the Aberdeen, WA store directly, order and pay over the phone with a Sears credit card (I believe the direct dept. # is 360-533-8410, but also try the store # as the dept. # usually rings busy), your order will be sent directly to your local store where you can pick them up in the next few days, so there you go. Hope it works out for everybody.
