Not sure if anyone cares but just got back from doctors today and they seem to think it is just torn muscle fibers in my forearm and lower bicep...going to get an mri tomorrow to make sure but it looks like it shouldn't be anything too serious (thank god)!!!

as long as it is only muscle fibers, i should be good to go in about a week with a light start!!!!!

I am glad to hear that!!! For those of there and those of us not... Kevin was on fire!!!! He looked great and was in the top few in the first two events...correct me if I am wrong. In fact I believe he was in the running until his injury on that dang fishing pole. Anyways...
Your athleticism and strength is amazing considering you are only 21!!!! Can't wait to see you in WSM 07!

Best of luck Kevin. You were putting on a great show and had a shot at winning, but I think it was a good decision to listen to Svend. Can't win WSM with a torn bicep. Let us know how it goes for sure.

Kevin was tied for 1st with Mariusz after 2 events I think. He was doing awesome and like said before, was in the running. he couldnt do the last event(stones) because of his injury.
hope all goes well for you Kevin.

Don't get depressed. Your already qualified for WSM. That's the important one.

By making the tough decision to withdraw, you showed that your wisdom is as advanced as your strength for your age.

everybody gets hurt......very smart of you to withdraw before the last event. You'll probably be looking at a 4 week recovery whereas if you would have done the stones you might be looking at a 16 week recovery.
I'd rather never win one contest and be able to compete when i'm 40 then have a couple good strong years and have to retire because of injury.

Dude, it was just the sound of your skin tearing as your bicep busted through the skin because you are so damn HUGE!! :F:

thank you guys so much for the positive words...it was really hard to pull out especially because i never have before and it was such an important show....but like you guys said WSM is what really matters and thats what i need to be healthy for.
also i had the MRI last night, which by the way is miserable and very uncomfortable, but i havent got the results back yet, ill let ya'll know though when i do.
once again guys thanks for the support!!!

Could you have worried the crowd a bit more first with your stunt during the stone carry and then the bicep right after? Do you think the stone contributed to the bicep problem or completely isolated?
