Cool gangster movie opening in November

Another cool movie... opens in November. http://www.americangangster.net/ Denzel is da man! I didn't think he would play a good bad guy until I saw Training Day, and now this. The real guy this is based on is a cat named Nicky Barnes. Google him and you'll notice this cat was as bad as Tony Montana and Micheal Corlione put together, LOL!!!

Now I'm not glorifying gangsters. I just think this is going to be a great movie. The two main characters are played by oscar winners Denzel Washinton and Russel Crowe and it's directed by an oscar winning director. I think it will be as good as Scarface, if not better. It's hard to compare anything to the Godfather without seeing it first.

Im not a fan of Denzels acting style. To me all his characters are the same. Same guy from remember the titans and same guy from training day and ricochet. Just with a different story.

He never really changes his approach to the character. Sometimes he gets a good role where it suits him. I seen more bad roles for him then good IMO.

Russel crow pretty good. So its up to the writers on this one. If they give him good lines and a good character to work with Denzel might do well. Hopefully no long freaking speeches. Denzel movies have a tendency to have a long drawn out speech part in every movie :LOL:

Russell Crow is a moron because he cheated on Meg Ryan! I mean, seriously folks, how could you ever cheat on Meg Ryan??!! :eek:


I'm also looking forward to this movie because I always enjoy watching true stories.

I'm also looking forward to the day when Mac Smith refers to me as a "cat". Then, my life will be complete.
