Hi :)
Agreed, even though she doesnt speak much english, aneta is such a lovely lady. Always smiling and such a pleasure to be around. I will be competing with her again this weekend in aviemore i will pass on your kind words. :)
The weights were:
Yoke: 220kg/484lbs
Log for Max: Aneta world record with 105kg!!
Pole Push - lighter pole than the boys
Truck was an isuzu trooper thing, (i think - it was big and shiney black colour anyway) slight incline at the end of pull
Car lift about 200kg on handles - a few people said it felt like more - i agreed!!
Farmers 75kg each hand for distance
Stones - 80kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg (was actually 115kg!!)

Actually if you could tell her Julie Havelka says "Hi" that would be great.
The pictures I saw of the contest were cool. How old are you? you look real young in the pictures. Make sure you post the results of the contest you have coming up for us to see.
Thanks,
Tod

Hi Gem- Congrats on your placing - awesome for being so young!
I have corresponded with Aneta and her coach Bugoslaw (I know a little Polish :) but Bugoslaw has good English. Aneta was very kind to send me some competition tank tops, one of which I wore last year at a competition (for good luck!)
Best to you, Julie Havelka
