There is a statuary close to my home that can make atlas stones. My question is, how big are they usually? I would like to start out with some that aren't super heavy. (less than 200lbs.)
Thanks,
David

If you use concrete normal sizes are 18 inch 230, 20 inch 330, 21 inch 350 you could go smaller 16 inch which is around 175 or a 15 inch which is around 110. But your standard shows start wiht 230 for light weight men.

I just called the guys and it said he would have to look into it abit but he thought he could do it for about $25-$45. :D My wife and I's anniversary is coming up soon. I think I know what I'm going to get. :)

That is a really cheap price. Look into a loading platform also. Pretty cheap and easy to build.
I would rethink the under 200 idea. My first stone was 150ish and the first time I picked it up I thought it would be suitable and after a week I needed more...way more. You will be amazed at how quickly you advance with stones at first.

For that price, get a few. You could always resell them if you outgrow them (or never grow into them).
